To process payments for consultations and services:
- We use Stripe SDK as our secure payment gateway.
- AnswerClinic DOES NOT store or have access to full credit card numbers or CVC codes. This sensitive financial data is processed directly through Stripe's encrypted infrastructure.
3.3. Technical and Device Data
We automatically collect certain technical information to ensure App stability and security:
- IP address and network type.
- Device model, operating system, and version.
- Unique device identifiers and push notification tokens.
4. Device Permissions
The App requires specific permissions on your mobile device to function. You may revoke these permissions at any time via your device settings, though this may limit certain features.
1. Microphone and Audio (RECORD_AUDIO)
Required to facilitate teleconsultations and record medical voice notes via Twilio Voice SDK.
Note: Consultations may be recorded for medical record-keeping purposes, subject to your consent upon initiating a call.
2. Camera and Photo Library
Required to capture or upload medical documents, prescriptions, or profile photos.
3. Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION)
Used via Google Maps SDK to provide geolocation services for medical offices, verify service locations, or autocomplete addresses.

Required to download and save medical reports, invoices, or files to your device.
5. Notifications
Required to send appointment reminders, chat alerts, and status updates (via Firebase Cloud Messaging).
